How Does Invisalign Work?
Invisalign will fix your bite and straighten your teeth without the use of more noticeable, painful metal braces. Virtually undetectable, Invisalign aligners are made of strong, clear plastic that gradually guide your teeth into perfect alignment.
Unlike metal braces, they have no brackets or wires to snag your lips or pinch your gums.
Dr. Souliotis will work with you to determine if Invisalign is a good option for you. He can design a treatment plan will which include doing an iTero 3D scan of your teeth from which we will develop personalized teeth-straightening aligners. These aligners slide directly over your teeth and are replaced every two weeks as your teeth gradually move into place. Depending on your unique situation, you will wear them full-time (except when eating or drinking ) for 12 to 24 months – about the same length of time as you would wear traditional metal braces. During this period, you will see your dentist every six to eight weeks for check-ups.
