Perfecting Your Smile

It is a very exciting time to treat our patients with the different options available! Veneers allow us to modify the shape, form and color of your teeth. This thin facing placed on top of your existing tooth structure can be fabricated using bonding (white filling material) or porcelain. Each material has its own benefits and our team is happy to assist you in deciding which option might meet your cosmetic goals best. Composite veneers have the advantage of being incredibly conservative in that little or no tooth structure needs to be removed prior to placement of the composite veneer. Porcelain veneers, however, are a stronger and more stain resistant, long term option for restoring teeth. Both are great options and we would be happy to show you the results we have been able to achieve at your initial consultation.

If you would like to know more or find out if veneers are right for you, please contact our team at Smile Esthetics and we would be pleased to assist you!

Dental Veneers

The goal of cosmetic dental procedures is to change the way you look and feel about the appearance of your smile. One of the most popular cosmetic restorative procedures that can improve the looks of damaged teeth or stained teeth in just two visits, are dental veneers.

Dental veneers are also called porcelain veneers or just veneers. Dental veneers are slender, tailor-made shells, fabricated using tooth-coloured material to mask the front surface of the teeth to enhance the appearance.

Dental Veneers Do the Following:

  • Cover chipped or broken teeth.
  • Conserve tooth structure.
  • Match the color of the surrounding teeth.
  • Correct teeth that are worn down.
  • Cover stained or darkened teeth.
  • Correct unevenly shaped teeth
  • Less tooth structure removed then crowns

If you want to know if dental crowns are right for you, consult Dr. Chris Souliotis at Smile Esthetics located in Victoria, BC.
